Strongwind Holding

Strongwind Holding is the owner of a wind park with a capacity of 6.1 MW. Representing an extension of a large existing wind power field 100 km south of Berlin in the German state Brandenburg, the Enecron E-101 turbines, which were commissioned in December 2013, are projected to produce approximately 14.5 GWh of electricity per year. This is equivalent to the electricity consumption of approximately 5’600 households and is reducing approximately 16’700 tons of CO2 emissions per year. The company successfully sells the produced energy to the market but also has the option to switch to the fixed feed-in tariff granted by the German Renewable Energy Act (EEG).
